Medium Density Overlaid (MDO) Plywood is an exterior grade plywood that we use to fabricate signs. Pictured here is a detail of the edge of an MDO sign where we roll a contrasting color of sign enamel. We often do this to give the sign a bit more depth. It lends an old time sign painter feel to the sign as well.
